SEASTARS DTW #3 — Visualising the Trade-Offs of Ship Decarbonisation Technologies: Space, Capacity and Design Impact
The 3rd SEASTARS Design Thinking Workshop will bring together design offices, naval architects, marine engineers, shipowner and shipyard technical managers, and technology provider designers to explore how spatial visualisation can support the integration of new decarbonisation technologies onboard ships. The workshop will focus on how new systems, such as alternative fuel tanks, batteries, fuel cells or other onboard equipment, affect vessel layout, cargo capacity and operational feasibility.
