The SEASTARS project is pleased to announce its participation in Transport Research Arena 2026, one of Europe’s leading transport and mobility research events. Taking place in Budapest from 18–21 May 2026, the event will bring together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and innovators shaping the future of sustainable transport.
SEASTARS will join the Waterborne Technology Platform stand to present its vision and progress toward enabling zero-emission waterborne transport through advanced digital and engineering solutions.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover how the project is contributing to the maritime transition through:
- Modular vessel design approaches
- Digital twin technologies
- Scalable decarbonisation pathways
- Innovation across inland, short-sea, and deep-sea shipping sectors
- The event provides an important platform for collaboration and dialogue across the maritime ecosystem. SEASTARS welcomes stakeholders from industry, research, policy, and finance to connect with the team and explore opportunities to accelerate sustainable transformation within the waterborne sector.
We look forward to meeting partners and participants in Budapest and discussing how innovation can create measurable impact for the future of green shipping.
