Following the momentum built during the first workshop session, the SEASTARS project successfully organised its 2nd Design Thinking Workshop, bringing together key stakeholders from across the maritime ecosystem to further shape the future of sustainable and digitally enabled shipping.
The workshop exceeded expectations, with the active participation of 30 experts representing different parts of the maritime value chain. Through collaborative discussions and interactive sessions, participants explored real operational challenges, further validated user needs, and identified priority areas for the continued development of the SEASTARS Platform-as-a-Service.
The strong engagement, openness of dialogue, and quality of feedback received during the workshop demonstrated a clear industry readiness to co-create practical, modular, and scalable decarbonisation solutions for the maritime sector.
This second workshop marked another important milestone for the SEASTARS project, reinforcing the importance of co-creation and cross-sector collaboration in accelerating maritime innovation and supporting the transition toward greener shipping.
SEASTARS would like to sincerely thank all participants for their valuable insights, expertise, and continued commitment throughout the workshop. Their contributions continue to play a key role in shaping the direction of the project and its future developments.
With more workshops, technical activities, and project milestones ahead, SEASTARS remains committed to driving impactful innovation for a smarter and more sustainable maritime future. 🚢💡
