SEASTARS Launches Its 1st Design Thinking Workshop
The SEASTARS project is pleased to announce the launch of its first Design Thinking Workshop, bringing together 30 experts from across the maritime value chain to collaboratively shape the foundations of the SEASTARS Platform-as-a-Service.
The workshop represents a key milestone in the project’s mission to develop practical, scalable, and industry-driven solutions that support the transition toward sustainable and decarbonised maritime transport.
Using a human-centred Design Thinking methodology, participants will work together to:
Understand real user and industry needs
Translate operational challenges into actionable concepts
Balance desirability, feasibility, and viability in maritime decarbonisation solutions
By engaging stakeholders from different sectors of the maritime ecosystem, the workshop aims to ensure that the SEASTARS platform is developed with real operational requirements and industry priorities at its core from the very beginning.
The collaborative approach reflects the project’s commitment to co-creation, innovation, and stakeholder engagement as essential drivers for accelerating the adoption of greener shipping solutions and advanced vessel design methodologies.
This workshop marks the beginning of an exciting journey for SEASTARS, with further technical activities, collaborative sessions, and innovation milestones to follow in the coming months.
More insights and updates will be shared soon as the project progresses. 🚢💡
